Measure over light underwear with a soft tape, close to the body but not tight. Compare with the chart and, if you are between sizes, choose the larger one.

I also have the coat in black. It has a good cut, is true to size, does not pill, feels soft to the touch, and keeps you very warm in winter. I plan to buy the coat in brown as well, which says more than any review could.
